Pregnant star Roxy Horner has paid a heartfelt tribute to the father of her unborn child Jack Whitehall as she shared a sweet post about her “baby daddy” for the comedian’s birthday.
The 32 year old model, who is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Jack, 35, made the adorable post while sharing a string of images on social media, as she celebrated the special day on his behalf.
Sharing a carousel of photos that she described as her “favourite moments” with the funnyman, the smitten mum-to-be admitted she was “glad she gets to do life” with Jack.
In one of the images shared by Roxy, the stunning blonde could be seen cuddled up with her beau at a festival, while another image revealed an intimate moment between the couple as they shared a romantic kiss together.
A number of other fun snaps were also included in the tribute post, which included Roxy and Jack on holiday together, riding a rubber dinghy and even riding a Tuk Tuk.
She captioned the post: “Happy birthday to my soon to be baby daddy. I couldn’t fit in every incredible moment we’ve had in one post so here’s just few memories that make me so glad that I get to do life with you.”
The heartwarming post came just days after Roxy had revealed to the world that she and Jack will soon be welcoming a baby girl while appearing on Steph's Packed Lunch.
Roxy first revealed the news of her pregnancy back in May, but has since admitted it was an incredibly daunting experience as her current pregnancy had followed on from an earlier miscarriage.
Speaking to Steph McGovern about the experience last week, Roxy told the host that: “I'm having a little girl. We've thought of some names, but I feel like none that are like really sticking out. So if anyone's got any ideas. I'm so excited, I can't wait.”
When quizzed about whether she was nervous, Roxy admitted: “Weirdly no, maybe I should be. I'm just very excited. I've always wanted a baby and a family so it's something that's always been on the cards.”
During the same discussion, Roxy also explained the impact her pregnancy had on her Type One diabetes, as she told viewers: “Your sugar levels kind of go up a lot higher during pregnancy, because you come become more resistant.
“So it's quite hard to manage and it's changing weekly, before I was pregnant I knew exactly my carbs to insulin ratio, whereas now it's just changing all the time.
She then continued: “I’m having to up my insulin dose pretty much daily at the moment because I'm in the third trimester and that's when it really kicks in.
“You have to manage it a lot more tightly as well during pregnancy because it's not just you, you're thinking about the baby as well.”
The positive outlook is a far cry from the early weeks of Roxy’s pregnancy, when she admitted she had suffered from “horrific” morning sickness, that had been so debilitating it had dominated her life for the first six months of her pregnancy.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Roxy explained:” I've been so sick. I'm six months now, but up until literally six months, I was throwing up every day.
“Once I hit six months, it let me have a break, and I was like, thank God, but I was throwing up eight times a day. It was horrific.”
