Strictly Come Dancing star Eddie Kadi has revealed the emotional moments where he’s already ‘crumbled’ and let his pro partner down.
The 40-year-old comedian is joining the likes of Amanda Abbington, Layton Williams, Angela Rippon, and Krishnan Guru-Murthy in the ballroom, with the launch set to kick off in just hours.
And while we have yet to find out who the celebs will be partnered with, Eddie has already revealed the emotional moments shared with his pro dancer.
He told Metro.co.uk: ‘I think I’ve met someone who can control my energy.’
The radio DJ went on: ‘There’s been moments where I’ve come to understand, especially from my teacher, my pro, she already expects a certain level.
‘So there’s moments where it’s like, oh my gosh, I know I can do it, but I’ve made this mistake 20million times, and I’ve let her down.
‘And then she has her way of reacting, and she gets in her corner and it’s almost like, oh my god, I’ve let her down.
‘Because you do get to the point where it’s literally teacher and student, and you’re looking up to her, and you go, I’ve let her down and then it is just silence.’
He added: ‘I just crumbled, just crumbled.
‘And then she picks you up again, like, we’re on a journey, that kind of thing.’
Despite the emotional moments, Eddie couldn’t hold back his excitement, and said he felt ‘phenomenal’ when he found out who his partner was.
‘The setting was very emotional and dear to my heart, so it was well thought of,’ he continued.

‘It could have been anyone and I would have been excited because these are professional dancers, you’re getting professional dancing lessons for free.
‘I don’t know if anyone has checked how much professional dancing lessons cost – they’re not cheap.
‘Especially during this cost-of-living, hello! Any one of them would have been fantastic but my pro, my dancer, we share the same sense of humour.’
‘It was just exciting,’ he added.
‘This is real, I’ve got my partner now, this is really happening.’
Strictly Come Dancing will start on Saturday September 16 at 6.35pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
