What is the recipe to make Dawn Powerwash?
Per Bob Vila, the money-saving DIY recipe to make Dawn Powerwash includes:
- One and one-half tablespoons of rubbing alcohol
- Four tablespoons of Dawn dish soap
- Eight drops of essential oils for fragrance (optional)
- Distilled water
The recipe states to first pour the rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle.
Next, add four tablespoons of the dish soap to the bottle before adding the essential oils, if desired.
Then, add distilled water until it is half an inch below the top of the bottle.
Next, gently mix the bottle's contents together before letting the mixture sit for at least four hours prior to use.
