Inside Mrs Hinch’s home renovations as she reveals why she shunned buying a bigger house

Mrs Hinch has shared a look at the incredible transformation of her home over the past few years and revealed the real reason for not buying a bigger home as her career as an cleaning influencer took off.

Thought to have a net worth of an estimated £1million thanks to her popular Instagram account, book deals and numerous brand partnerships, Sophie Hinchliffe explained that she and husband Jamie loved their house too much to leave.

The mum-of-one shared several before and afters of her home as it went through a huge makeover, with a new extension, a brand new kitchen, upstairs landing and a new living room and dining area.


Millionaire Mrs Hinch, who has amassed 3.2million followers on Instagram, answered what seemed to be a question she is asked a lot regarding her home.

The 30 year old explained alongside the snaps: "Yes it may have have been easier to move, but Jamie and I spent years saving to buy our first home. And I cannot explain how much this house means to me…

"So we decided against moving and grew our home instead. Best decision ever guys," she finished alongside a love heart emoji.

Mrs Hinch showed a look at the upstairs landing which she explained was once their smallest of three bedrooms.


Instead of keeping it as a bedroom, the couple decided to knock the walls down to make a spacious landing and seating area with a window to bring in extra light.

She also chose to add an extension to the original layout of the house, creating more light and space for a bigger dining area and patio for he back garden to enjoy the fresh air.


In one clip the influencer, who is also the author of two books, showed the process of the renovations in a slideshow video.

From knocking the walls through to creating new large windows and sliding patio doors, the old house is almost unrecognisable.

The first-time mum also gave her Hinch Army a peek at the outside of her property, with a perfectly preened front lawn and several miniature bushes lining the walkway to the front door.

Most recently the social media star gave fans a look inside her kitchen renovation after she had a 'drive-through' window added to connect the room to the dining area.


After turning 30 in Paris with her family, Mrs Hinch returned back to her home to see the results which she was thrilled with.

She gave a big thanks to her followers who helped her make the decision to have the serving hatch built and for them voting in a poll for her light fixtures.

"Thank you guys for persuading me to do it. It was the best decision I made in this house by far, 100 per cent!" she added.
