Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are Coming to America! Archie Will Reportedly Spend His First Thanksgiving in LA

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going to celebrate Thanksgiving in America this year. A source says the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Los Angeles next month to spend the holiday with her mom, Doria Ragland. The pair is expected to take a six-week break from their royal schedule just in time for Thanksgiving, allowing them to travel with their youngest, Archie Harrison.

The insider revealed that Markle and Prince Harry have a packedschedule until the middle of November. At that time, they will take a breakfrom their royal duties for some quality family time. Hopefully, this meanssome more adorable pics of Archie Harrison on the road.

“The Duke and Duchess have a full schedule of engagementsand commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking somemuch-needed family time,” the insider dished.

According to PageSix, Markle believes it is important for her son to know hisconnection to America, which could mean frequent trips to the states. It isalso important that Markle’s mom gets to spend as much time with her grandsonas possible, especially since she lives half-way around the world from thepair.

The Thanksgiving excursion will be Archie Harrison’s first trip to the United States. He traveled with Markle and Prince Harry during their tour of South Africa this month, so it won’t be his first trip abroad.

The announcement, meanwhile, comes after Markle’s emotionalinterview about living under the spotlight and adjusting to life as a new mom.

The former Suits star, who gave birth to her son back inMay, admitted that she felt vulnerable during her pregnancy and that it hasbeen difficult dealing with the press with a baby in the house. The interviewfollowed the couple’s return home from their 10-day tour of South Africa — aplace that has always held a special place in Prince Harry’s heart.

Harry and Markle enjoyed a packed schedule during their tour ofSouth Africa, visiting several countries in the region as they promoted theircharitable endeavors. Although Archie Harrison made the trip, he only appearedonce in public. The rest of the time he was kept behind closed doors, eitherwith Markle or the couple’s nanny.

For Prince Harry, he recently revealed that he feels morecomfortable in Africa more than any other part of the world. Not only does hedo a lot of work in the region, but he and Markle experienced their first-timebonding as a couple during a trip to Africa.

Harry also explained how he is completely devoted to Africa andis focusing his efforts on conservation, among other projects.

Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana, also shared a close connection to Africa. Princess Diana worked with several charities in the region, endeavors Prince Harry and Markle hope to continue.

While Harry and Markle are now looking forward to their upcomingtrip to America, he teased that a move to Africa is not out of the question.

Will Prince Harry and Markle move to Africa

In his interview, Prince Harry admitted that Cape Town would bean ideal place for him and Markle to set up a base camp of sorts.

He did not confirm that a move is imminent but given his fondnessfor Africa and all of the charitable work he has done in the country itwouldn’t be surprising if Prince Harry and Markle set up shop in Cape Town. Thatsaid, there have also been rumors that Markle and Prince Harry are looking tomove to Los Angeles so she can be closer to her mother.

Ragland and Markle are very close, with the former appearing atMarkle’s wedding in 2018 and Archie Harrison’s birth last May. Although Markleand Prince Harry have help raising their baby son, there is little doubt thatRagland would like to be more involved.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not commented on all of the moving rumors.

It is also unclear if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will makeany public appearances during their trip to California, though our fingers aredefinitely crossed.
