Jessie J shared the sweetest video of herself reuniting with her parents after the pandemic year apart… attached to a thirst trap showing off her toned booty. (And you thought the superstar singer only had vocal range!)
“Jumped in the pool in 🇺🇸 made a wish and… Swipe,” the “Domino” singer captioned the Instagram post. “My Mum said “f*** Dad said “You are supposed to be a 🖼” She went on to promote a local “pie & mash” restaurant, saying her “heart is so full” amid her wholesome homecoming.
But let’s back up a moment. In that pool shot, her glutes look. so. toned. That’s not only the sunlight rippling through the water, Jessie’s booty is *that* sculpted.
It’s no secret Jessie J goes hard at the gym. “When I come out of the gym, I’m blotchy red and sweaty, but I feel good. It’s about the longevity of your life, not how you look in the morning,” she told HuffPost in 2017. While working out, she always switches up her workout so her body doesn’t get too comfortable, and often boosts her bodyweight exercises with resistance bands. When it comes to machines, she uses the stair climber and the rower, which seems to be her arch nemesis. “I hate…the rower!” she once told fans on the ‘gram.
Physical fitness is a big part of Jessie’s self-care routine. “[Working out] really makes me feel positive,” she previously told Women’s Health UK. “It releases endorphins—and I never really used to believe in that until I started working out. You do really get this sluggish feeling before a workout where you’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to do it,’ and you might feel a little low. But you do a workout, and it gives you that pickup. It makes me feel alive.”
Though it’s unclear whether her “pie and mash” was vegan, the singer has been vocal about changing her diet after experiencing fertility issues. “So, four years ago, I cut out sugar from my diet to try and stop bacteria from building up in my body,” she told Plant Based News. “Once I cut out sugar, I realized how much I began to enjoy food when it was good for me—and it was balancing out everything—my health, my moods, my sleep.”
There’s no denying, Jessie J’s making a splash on both sides of the pond.
