Of All the Eye Creams I’ve Used, This Is the Only One That’s Shown Me Real Results

I’ve struggled with acne for nearly a decade, and one of the many things that got it under control was using retinol. So, when it comes to using products that slow down the aging process, that’s pretty much all I do. Thankfully, using it for over 10 years has done wonders for my skin, keeping it fresh and smooth. Unfortunately though, you can’t use retinol near your eyes, and its the one place I neglected treating for a long time. As I got older, I noticed I was getting more fine lines around my eyes or what they call crow’s feet. A few years ago I started looking for the best eye cream.

While I know a cream won’t make wrinkles disappear, I do think keeping the area moisturized can help fade them slightly. I’ve tried so many over the years thinking they were an easy and simple product to find, but I never feel in love with one. So many left me with dry patches or even bumps and redness, but with most of them I just felt nothing at all.

One brand I neglected trying though was Skinceuticals, which seems to pop up on all my favorite celebrities must have skin-care lists. To be honest, I never bought the eye cream because it’s on the expensive side. Then I spent one late night reading hundreds of rave reviews about the SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex ($98) and was convinced. I’m not one to spend this much on beauty products, but I’m glad I did.

So, what makes it so good? Well, I decided that when I would start using I would watch one specific line under my right eye that seemed deeper than others. I know this sounds out there, but I wanted to look for results. I’m one month into using the cream and while that line isn’t gone, it is far less deep than it used to be. The thick and creamy texture makes my eyes feel hydrated and fresh both morning and night and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. This is hand-down the most expensive product in my skin-care routine, but also one of the most effective. When this jar runs out I will be going back for more.
