Alison Hammond, 47, has been presenting on This Morning on Friday’s alongside Dermot O’Leary, 49, since January last year when it was announced that Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford had been removed from the slot. Alison took to Instagram today to share a short video alongside Dermot along with one of their colleagues, Meg Full name here, as she finished her time at the ITV studios.
I am really upset.

Alison shared the short selfie video in view of her 1.1 million Instagram followers alongside her colleague Megan and Dermot.
The ITV star began: “I am really upset because this young ladies are leaving. How upset are you Dermot?
Dermot replied: “She’s a goat, we love her.”
Confused, Alison asked: “What does a goat mean?”
Dermot answered: “Greatest of all time!”
Alison then continued: “She is the greatest of all time. This is our goat!”
On today’s This Morning the hosts were joined on the sofa by guests Gyles Brandreth and Carol Vorderman.
While in conversation, Alison revealed that she once paid £10,0000 for a car service.
Alison said: “So I got my car serviced. And I paid for the service and didn’t notice until they phoned me that they charged me £10,000 for the service.
“I hadn’t checked my bank!”
Carol was lost for words, exclaiming: “£10,000?!”
Alison elaborated: “They charged me £10,000 then noticed a month later and phoned me up and said: ‘We’ve overcharged you. It was £1,000 and we’ve charged you £10,000’.
“And I didn’t even notice. But it’s nice that they phoned me back!”
Many took to Twitter to hit out at the presenter for being so “out of touch” with her viewers as many struggle in the cost of living crisis.
Shirley08061660 said: “@ThisMorning absolutely sickened watching Alison Hammond not noticing 10k missing from her bank account.
“People are really scared at the moment, worrying about money and you show this!
Geordiegalg added: “Didn’t notice £10,000 had gone from her bank account? First world problems eh? #ThisMorning.” (sic)
Alison held back tears on TV last night as she opened up about her parents death on DNA Journey.
The 47-year-old lost her beloved parents within months of each other in 2020.
Alison said: “My mum was diagnosed with cancer.
“It was bizarre. Within about two months of my mum passing, my dad had a heart attack and passed away in Jamaica.
“I can speak about it now. Without crying.”
