Ariana Madix has thoughts on Bethenny Frankel’s interview with Rachel Leviss.
Days after the Real Housewives of New York City star dropped her three-part podcast interview with Rachel, offering the 28-year-old an opportunity to discuss her controversial affair with Ariana’s longtime boyfriend Tom Sandoval, the Something About Her co-owner is dropping her two cents on the eyebrow-raising discussion.
On Friday during an appearance on the Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast, Ariana admitted that she “did not listen but did read synopses,” and is laying it all out on the table:
“Bethenny actually upset me more in the things that were said.”
Ariana said the 52-year-old did not know “what the f**k” she was talking about, adding that she needed to “do more research” on Rachel’s affair with her ex-boyfriend. And something that specifically didn’t sit right with her was the fact that Bethenny tried to pass the scandal off as not being as harmful since Ariana and Tom weren’t married and don’t share children — but the Vanderpump Rules star wholeheartedly disagrees, considering their NINE-year relationship:
“In many states, . I find that hurtful in regards to other women in relationships who don’t have children. Maybe they can’t have children or don’t want children or don’t want to get married. None of those people’s relationships are less meaningful because of that. She should know better than to say that about anybody.”
Yeah, that was kind of a low blow on Bethenny’s part…
Ariana also defended still residing in the same home with the Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner, which the two bought together in 2019, explaining she’s not about to “f**k” herself over because of the affair:
“I have never been someone who came from money. I know how quickly that goes away. I’m taking care of myself.”
She added she’s “not rich” like “Scrooge McDuck,” noting:
“I pay a mortgage. It’s expensive. A lot of people on the internet seem to think I’m rolling in money right now. I have a lot of places where that money has to go before I get .”
However, she’s hired “financial advisers, a lawyer, an accountant all kinds of people helping make the best decisions.”
As for the day-to-day sitch inside their shared home, Ariana shared:
“I have a pretty decent setup. My room is kind of like my little apartment. … I stay in my own little zone.”
However, she keeps the door “locked just in case.”
“I sleep a lot easier at night not giving a f**k when he comes in that door. … Yes, we’re in the same house, but I don’t have to think about .”
Poor Ariana. She’s already dealing with so much! But we’re glad she’s prioritizing herself. Thoughts, Perezcious readers? Share in the comments down below!
