Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has reacted to the news that her boss and friend Simon Cowell was rushed to hospital after suffering yet another biking accident. Speaking on her Heart FM radio show with co-stars Ashley Roberts and Jamie Theakston, the 50-year-old came up with a few new ways the entertainment mogul could feel safer if he were to get on his bike again, confessing that she had ordered him a learning aid which is normally reserved for teaching children how to ride a bike.

The mother-of-two spoke about her BGT boss’ accident earlier this week, which saw him rushed to hospital.
Following the crash, Amanda admitted that she had bought Simon a gift as a joke to help him get back on his bike.
Ashley said to her co-hosts: “We spoke about the fact that Simon Cowell had another accident on his bike didn’t we.
“Now he said he’s not going to get on bikes ever again, which I think is a smart thing to do,” she added.
After Amanda told how she wasn’t convinced that Simon would stick to his promise, Ashley aired a new idea.
“Unless he gets a little tricycle with a bell, where he can ring and warn people,” she joked.
Amanda chipped in, adding that she had come up with an idea to help Simon take to the roads safely once again, whilst poking fun at his mishap.
“That’s true, although I did order, I’ve ordered him some stabilisers, I’m seeing him on Sunday, I’m going to give them to him. I’ll video it,” she promised her co-hosts.
She also quipped that she will encourage her friend to complete a cycling proficiency course to help him and those around him feel safer on the roads.
Following the accident, Simon broke his silence to confirm that he is on the mend.
He told MailOnline today from London: “I’m OK. I’m feeling much better thank you. It happened just around the corner.”
It was reported that the entertainment mogul was “lucky to be alive” after crashing his bike for a second time.
The news comes 18 months after the Britain’s Got Talent judge broke his back on an e-bike in Los Angeles.
According to reports, the latest bike accident took place in West London, where paramedics attended the scene.
It has been claimed that Simon was propelled over the handlebars of his bike and onto the road at 20mph.
The dad of one was rushed to the Chelsea and Westminster hospital with a suspected concussion and a broken arm before being given an X-Ray.
A source told The Sun: “He was pedalling along, with his electric motor on, when the wheels suddenly went from under him after hitting a wet patch.
“He slipped and went flying over the handlebars into the middle of the road.”
The insider also claimed that Simon was not wearing a helmet but passers-by “jumped into action”.
It is claimed that the accident took place on Thursday after he completed filming on the new series of Britain’s Got Talent, which starts in April.
