Bradley Cooper might be done with red carpets amid Irina Shayk reunion rumours

Bradley Cooper is focusing on the important things in life after prompting rumours that he is close to consciously recoupling with his ex Irina Shayk.

The Hollywood star, 45, had a tender squeeze and a neck nuzzle from the Russian beauty as they met up to spend some time with their three-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.

Their warm embrace, in New York’s Tribeca neighbourhood, comes after Cooper warned he is turning his back on awards shows following his controversial duet with Lady Gaga at the Oscars last year.

He and Irina, 34, ended their four-year romance not long after Cooper and Gaga’s steamy live performance of Shallow, from their film A Star Is Born.

Now he says of the red carpet: ‘It really does make you face ego, vanity and insecurity. It’s very interesting and utterly meaningless.

‘It’s quite a thing to work through, and it’s completely devoid of artistic creation. It’s not why you sacrifice everything to create art.’

Cooper was seen out and about with Irina after recently revealing he found himself totally housebound earlier in the pandemic.

The actor was locked away with his daughter, two dogs and his mum Gloria, who is shielding. He explained: ‘My mother is going to be 80, and she has a colostomy bag, so I can’t let anybody in the house.

‘And I can’t leave the house, because if she gets it, it’s over.’

Anwar puts a Palm Spring in Dua’s Step

Dua Lipa made her boyfriend Anwar Hadid the star of her real-life Desert Island Discs.

The 25-year-old put on a love show with model Anwar, 21, wrapping herself around him in the sands of Palm Springs, just outside LA.

The pair have been inseparable since spending lockdown in London and then starting a new life together in Tinseltown.

Dua will find out later this month if she is finally cool enough to be the winner of a Mercury Prize.

The legendary music event is being held remotely this year, with the winner announced on BBC TV’s The One Show.

Speaking about her nomination, the Levitating singer said: ‘The support means so much to me and it’s surreal because maybe I just didn’t think I was cool enough.’ But she’s certainly popular — last week the Office for National Statistics said the number of newborns being named Dua has doubled.

Fun and Games… Josh’s lockdown love

Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson’s romance with Claudia Traisac has survived and thrived in lockdown.

He said quarantine has been ‘really good’ for him and the Spanish actress, adding: ‘I think it’s make-or-break for many people.

‘It’s a lot of time to spend with someone, but we found a really good balance supporting one another and giving space when it’s needed and being close when it’s needed. Quarantine has been difficult in many ways, but on that front, I’m happy.’

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old, who plays Peeta, is up for a Hunger Games prequel following a ‘socially distanced’ dinner with co-star Jennifer Lawrence. ‘If they can get some of the same people involved, I would do it, no question,’ he said.

Lana: Wives may put Louboutin

Lana Del Rey reckons lockdown has led to some wives questioning whether they should stay married.

The Doin’ Time singer, who split from her TV cop boyfriend Sean Larkin just as lockdown started in March, says she feels for other monogamous couples.

The sultry 35-year-old American pointed out: ‘I think there’s been existential panic for a long time but people haven’t been paying attention to it because they’ve been too busy buying shoes. And shoes are cute. I love shoes.

‘But now that you can’t go shopping, you have to look at your partner and be like, “I’ve lived with you for 20 years but do I even know you?” You realise maybe you’ve only ever allowed yourself to scratch the surface of yourself because if you went any deeper, you might have a mild meltdown for no reason.’

  • Lily James has had enough of masking her emotions. The 31-year-old Mamma Mia! star explained: ‘My instinct is often to pretend, to put on an act of giving off a positive message about confidence. But the truth is that I don’t always feel confident. I’m beginning to realise that ‘fake it till you make it’ isn’t useful to me at this point in my life. Embracing and owning up to my vulnerability is more powerful. That is something I want to focus on maintaining moving forward.’
  • J Hus was the Big Conspiracy at last night’s Rated Awards from GRM Daily when he beat Stormzy and Skepta to win album of the year. But there was some joy for Stormzy at the virtual ceremony — he features on Tion Wayne’s I Dunno, which bagged track of the year.
