Britney Spears is soaking up the sun during a getaway to Maui with her fiancé, Sam Asghari. The singer captured their vacation with a plethora of photos and videos that she shared on Instagram.
On Monday, Britney shared a carousel of images with her followers that consisted of several snaps with Asghari, a video of chickens, a couple of bikini-clad selfies, and one of her signature dance recordings. She also posted a few peeks at a tanning session, once again showing off her swimwear and the panoramic views from the couple's balcony.
In the caption, Spears let her fans know that she actually regrets dyeing her hair purple. "I will be honest I think my purple hair 🧜🏻♀️ is absolutely horrible …. I wish someone would have told me 😂🤷🏼♀️ !!!!"
She went on to explain that she's been feeling under the weather and annoyed with the paparazzi. "I've done so well trying to fight feeling sick by doing THE RIGHT thing and it just sucks 😤 !!! Paps still show pics of me on the balcony with fat rolls 😂😹🤷🏼♀️ !!!!"
And the pop icon gets even more relatable, because according to Daily Mail, her yellow plaid thong bikini is from Target. In one shot, she models the suit from the front before lounging on her stomach, revealing the bikini's Brazilian-cut bottoms.
In the second caption, she gave her followers more details about her mysterious illness. "I think I have a small bug … the only thing that is similar to this feeling is when I was pregnant 🤰… it's the nausea 🤢 that is the worst …" she wrote. "It's like clock work ⏰ … I break my first sweat then I go to the bathroom and throw up 🤮… it's absolutely horrible but then I stay at the gym because I don't want to go home and lay sick in bed …."
She continued saying that this sickness has been ongoing for a month and has caused her to lose two pounds, but despite feeling poorly and being followed by the media, she and Sam have had a good vacation overall. "Aloha 🌺 although the paps are horrible, Maui is absolutely pure magic 🪄… Thank you dear Jesus for this magical place," she concluded.
