Caprice Bourret has unveiled some clever tricks to help parents inform children about germs and get them to wash their hands.
Taking to social media, the 48-year-old TV personality shared a video in which an adult shows children the importance of washing their hands with soap to get rid of bacteria.
“For all parents this video was brilliant at teaching my kids about germs … … before it was such a struggle to get them to wash there hands now they do it all the time …. and they loved this video so much they have watched it at least 20 times and love talking about it,” she captioned the video.
“please please watch and share with your kids esp during these precarious times … be safe and healthy.”
In the video, the teacher instructs a child to dip her finger in soap before touching ‘virus water’.
The clip cleverly shows the dirty particles are repelled when the student puts soap on their hands.
Sharing the video with her 25,800 followers, Caprice swore by the simple visual techniques and urged parents to try and do the same.
A number of doting parents have already heralded the post as an innovative and informative way to get their kids aware.
Among the comments was one from Trisha Goddard, who wrote: “This is brilliant! Thanks for sharing!”
Other fans of the actress also took to the comments section to discuss the importance of hand washing.
“An absolute fab video! Definitely going to show my kids when they are home from school. Thank you x” said one impressed fan.
“Thanks for showing this my grandkids have watched it 5 times and it as helped them with hand washing,” wrote another.
A third even called for the activity to be carried out in schools around the country.
“This is brilliant!!! They should do it at infant/junior schools.”
Caprice has two young sons, Jax and Jett, who were both born in 2013.
Weeks after reportedly being ‘banned’ from the Dancing On Ice final, Caprice used her platform to share the important information in regards to stopping the spread of germs.
It’s the first time that Caprice has spoken out about the ‘precarious times’ as coronavirus continues to sweep across the globe.
Official NHS guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus is to clean hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
