Carol Vorderman got up bright and early this morning to listen to the dawn chorus in Bristol.
The maths whizz took to Twitter to share a short video of the beautiful sound and revealed a bit of a dirty secret in the process.
The television and radio star called herself a “mucky mare,” after revealing her self-isolation bad habits.
Carol, who has been offering free maths lessons for kids being home-schooled during the coronavirus pandemic, shared the footage with her 430,900 Twitter followers.
She captioned it: “Thursday at 5.30am #Bristol…..slept in my make up (mucky mare).
“Listening to the dawn chorus #SelfIsolation.”
In the clip, the 59-year-old spoke directly to the camera and told her fans she had been wearing the same clothes for almost a week, while on lock-down at home.
She said: “It’s half past five in the morning in Bristol.
“I’ve been the same leggings for five days – unwashed – and I slept in my make-up. Self-isolation!”
Panning the camera down, to show viewers her outfit, she added: “I’m in my big fake fur jacket, my dressing and my slippers and listening to the dawn chorus.”
The previous night, Carol, who is no stranger to flaunting her fabulous figure in tight clothing, took to Twitter to ask a question about her leggings.
The mum-of-two asked her followers: “Soooo…..how many days can you wear black leggings without being named and shamed??? [shocked face emoji].”
She humorously added: “Asking for a friend [laughing emoji].”
One fan replied: “Been wearing mine for 8 days now,” to which Carol remarked: “Whoah.”
Another follower said: “I’m on day 4.”
