Chanelle Hayes showed off her slimmed-down figure in a purple bikini on her recent holiday, after revealing her painful health diagnosis.
The 35 year old former Big Brother star hit the beach in Tenerife as she soaked up the sunshine whilst looking a little pensive, as she displayed the results of her incredible 9st weight loss.
Chanelle, a mother to sons Blakely, 12, and Frankie, five, went makeup free for the beach day whilst her dark hair was tied back into a fuss-free ponytail, and pushed backwith a pair of sunglasses perched atop her head.
Chanelle recently opened up about her recent diagnosis of arthritis in both hips, and at one point during her beach day, she tenderly rubbed one of her hips.
A devastated Chanelle took to her Instagram stories last week to explain the news she had received to her 120,000 followers.
Speaking to the camera, she said: "Morning, so I've just had a phone call from the doctors regarding the results of an X-ray I had done.
"And, considering I'm only 35 years old, I've now been diagnosed with arthritis in both hips."
Sharing her frustration and devastation over the results, she continued: "Bit annoyed to say the least because I feel like it's going to hinder me from doing stuff that I need to do."
Chanelle went on to ask if any of her followers were suffering with the same health issue in their thirties as she asked for advice on how to deal with it.
Answering a fan who asked which type of arthritis she had been diagnosed with, the star said: "Its osteo so although it's in both hips I was only really symptomatic in the left and apparently it's showing as worse on the left side xx".
Chanelle has lost an impressive amount of weight over the last couple of years, dropping from a size 18 to an 8 after having a gastric sleeve fitted in August 2020.
Prior to the operation, Chanelle weighed 17st4lbs, before slimming down to nine-and-a-half stone, as she described the gastric sleeve surgery as a "last resort" after years of struggling with her weight.
Speaking on Loose Women in 2021, Chanelle said that her journey so far has been "really positive" after learning to "re-eat" as she admitted her eating was out of control prior to the surgery.
In August 2022, Chanelle took to Instagram to share a number of bikini snaps over the years, which showed off her different body shapes as she admitted she had been "conscious" about wearing a bikini that summer, before giving her "head a shake".
