The 65-year-old legendary songwriter rocked a bright green blazer with matching tailored slacks as she took to the red carpet ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night where she’s nominated for Best Original Song which is featured in the drama, Four Good Days.
Warren has been nominated 13 times for an Academy Award since 1988, and has yet to win an Oscar, but could break the streak tonight with her song, Somehow You Do, which is performed by Reba McEntire.
Shining moment: Diane Warren put her power color on and stood out from the crowded room wearing an iridescent green suit at the 94th annual Academy Awards on Sunday evening at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif.
Warren — who is known for an incredible catalog of hits, including Cher’s ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’, Celine Dion’s ‘Because You Loved Me’, and ‘I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing’ for Aerosmith — sported a black turtleneck top underneath her emerald blazer, which also featured black lapels.
She wore a thick silver chain necklace and rocked a heart emblem above a bright blue ribbon as part of the Oscars show of support for Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees amid the devastating Russian invasion.
The ribbons, which have #withrefugees written on the side, are distributed by the UN Refugee Agency.

Warren told PEOPLE that getting nominated this year was ‘exciting’ albeit difficult as she’s been in the nominees box many times before and hasn’t brought home the coveted statue.
‘Getting nominated this year was hard. You know, no one even saw it coming,’ she said. ‘I was like, “Well, I’m not sure about this one,’ but people love the song.”
She added: ‘It feels great because it’s like The Little Engine That Could, so I love that. And a little engine can go far, so we’ll see on Sunday.’

The ceremony taking place Sunday in Hollywood requires nominees, guests and press to be vaccinated, although performers and presenters are reportedly able to attend without proof of vaccine if they undergo rigorous testing.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Dos Oruguitas from the Disney animated movie Encanto will be performed by Sebastian Yatra.
Best known for creating Broadway sensation Hamilton, Miranda will attain the coveted and rare EGOT status for winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award if he wins on Sunday.
‘If I had to choose winning years ago and then never getting nominated again, I would choose this. Because this is longevity, this is respect by my peers, which is the best. That’s a win,’ Warren explained
‘It’s a legacy. It’s like, I’m still in the game. My first nomination was 1988 and I’m still here. How cool is that?’
Beyonce is nominated for her song, Be Alive, from King Richard, the true story about tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.
Also performing at the Oscars will be an all-star band including Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and DJ D-Nice.
