Eddie Boxshall has spoken out after his split with long-time fiancée Denise Van Outen, sharing a cryptic message on Instagram.
Earlier this week Denise, 47, confirmed that the pair are no longer together, in a sombre post on Instagram.
Now Eddie has also spoken out – in his own way – sharing an image with hopeful words which appear in a mirror.
The message reads: ‘When everything is uncertain everything that is important becomes clear’.
He captioned the post with the words: ‘Health and love,’ along with a praying hands and heart emoji.
The Gogglebox star received dozens of messages of support from fans, with one writing: ‘Time always help everything figure itself out. Hang in there’.
‘Onwards and upwards and we all need clarity in our lives,’ another wrote, matching Eddie’s prayer emoji.
Other sent their best wishes to both Eddie and Denise during the difficult time.
Eddie and Denise had planned to tie the knot this year.
However, after what Denise called months of speculation, the star confirmed the news on Friday that they were no longer a couple.
Sharing a black and white photo of her walking her dogs on the beach, Denise wrote: ‘I had to make the difficult decision not to continue in our relationship.
‘I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made.’
She went on to request privacy at the difficult time for the family, particularly for their children.
Denise is a mum to Betsy, 11, from her marriage to Lee Mead, while Eddie has two children from a previous relationship – 21-year-old Leah and 25-year-old son Jordan, who were young teenagers when the couple got together.
Denise and Eddie first met in 2014 when they were set up on a blind date by presenter Zoe Hardman.
