Emma Barton, 42, has been very busy recently training non-stop for Strictly Come Dancing, where she is partnered with Anton du Beke, 53.
And her EastEnders co-star, Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in the soap, has ensured she maintains her energy levels as he brought in a packed lunch for Emma today, as they continued filming.
Emma, who plays Honey Mitchell, uploaded a video to her Instagram account, sharing the news about Adam’s kind gesture.
However, as she thanked Adam for bringing in food for her, she made an “embarrassing” mistake.
Oh, I missed that!

Speaking to the camera, she said: So I’ve just got into work this morning, I’ve got my colleague and friend here, darling friend, and very clever chef off MasterChef…”
“Not that clever because I got booted out!” Adam interrupted.
“Oh, I missed that!” Emma admitted, before adding: “Embarrassing!”
Adam replied: “Did you not know?”
Emma swept the blunder under the rug and continued to show off her packed lunch.
“Look what he’s done for me,” Emma said. “A little packed lunch.”
Adam went on to describe the meal which he said contained beef, horseradish mash, roasted carrots and crispy onion.
“Three minutes in the microwave,” he said.
Emma captioned the post: “Being so well looked after by my @bbceastenders family whilst dancing.. & a special thank you to my talented pal @adamwoodyatt for my lunch today.
“Yummy!!!! (Excuse the terrible filming by me) #eastenders #strictly.”
Many of Emma’s 33,300 Instagram followers took the opportunity to praise her performance on Saturday night.
One person praised: “That’s so lovely, Emma, we loved your dancing. It was a 10 from us.”
Another said: “Aw so sweet what a gent @adamwoodyatt u were amazing in masterchef. x well done Emma ur smashing it xx u got great moves.”(sic)
Adam’s act of kindness also prompted a reaction from Stacey Slater actress, Lacey Turner, who commented: “I’m so jealous,” alongside a laughing emoji.
The Ian Beale star replied: “I’ll bring you some next time.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday on BBC One at 7.10pm.
