There are many celebrities who are isolating with their exes because they had children together. However, Gavin Rossdale revealed that he isn’t staying with Gwen Stefani and their sons during the coronavirus outbreak. Find out what he said about their co-parenting dilemma.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are isolating together
Stefani and Blake Shelton’s schedule has changed to where they can isolate together for the coronavirus outbreak. Shelton and Stefani previously shared that they have to change his tour dates.
Of course, Shelton decided to joke about the situation on Twitter. He tweeted on March 17, “I have an announcement. With basically EVERYTHING I had scheduled being canceled for the foreseeable further @gwenstefani and I have made a decision together. I am growing my mullet back as a symbol of hope or some sh*t like that.. Anyway it’s coming back! For real. Stay tuned…”
He later posted an update on Twitter. He showed that he has a little bit of a mullet along with a few stripes on the side of his head. Stefani is touching the end of his mullet.
The country singer captioned the post with “Quarantine mullet update 3/26/2020… @gwenstefani has decided to take it to the next level.. Stripes.”
She still co-parents with Gavin Rossdale
Stefani and Rossdale were married from 2002 to 2016. They got divorced but are co-parenting their sons Apollo, Kingston, and Zuma together.
Rossdale talked about their methods. “You know, we both manage to feed them and get them to school on time, more or less!” he told Us Weekly. The singer said the boys are “doing really good.”
Stefani has also talked about parenting with her boyfriend. “He’s been helping me out a lot, so I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You gotta get home, I need help.’ It’s hard. I got three boys,” she told Hoda Kotb on Today.
Rossdale said they have a dilemma co-parenting during the outbreak
Rossdale gave an update on his family while talking on Trunk Nation. He said it’s been hard trying to split time with Stefani.
“I did the first two weeks with them, then they went to Oklahoma,” the father said. Stefani and their sons are isolating on Shelton’s ranch.
“I think it’s ok for now but it’s a real big dilemma for parents and kids with split custody,” he said. Rossdale then added, “I know who’s around me and know who’s bringing the corona — no one — but you send your kids out and now they’re coming back to you, and now you’re prone to whoever they’re with. So, it’s a tricky one with all divorced parents.”
The singer went on to talk about the change in their schedule. “I miss them, and they should be back,” he said. “I have them the first week and then I haven’t had them for ten or 11 days, and that’s a long time. Normally I have them every five days or something.” Rossdale said he is using FaceTime a lot to fight the loneliness.
