GMB’s Laura Tobin called ‘classy and beautiful’ with ‘back to roots’ hair transformation

GMB presenter Laura Tobin has taken to her Instagram to show off her hair transformation which saw her go "back to her roots".

On Friday, Laura, 41, took to her Instagram to share a reel of her new look, which comprised of a stunning hair cut and dye job.

The weather presenter oozed confidence as she showed off her new look, which saw her say goodbye to her lighter balayage to instead embrace her dark brown roots in a coherent colour.

She captioned the reel: "A new cut & colour! My head is lighter & my hair is darker!

"Thank you @christinabhair for taking me back to my roots! Dark brown-I love it!

"(A million photos deserves a reel)"

The first photo showed her hair before the transformation before she cut off several inches and got rid of the blonde tips.

And her fans seem to love the new look just as much as her and were quick to fill the comment section with compliments.

One person commented: "Looks gorgeous" with a red love heart.

"Love your new style AND your makeup!" said another.

A third person wrote: "Just a beautiful lady who ALWAYS looks classy."

A fourth person said: "Looking very gorgeous and beautiful" as another added: "Absolutely gorgeous."

Last year the presenter shocked fans when she revealed her age.

The weather presenter turned 41 back in October, but both fans and colleagues were quick to argue that she looked as though she was in her "mid 30s".

Her co-host Susanna Reid pointed out: "Martin said he doesn't know how old you are – he guessed 24…"

To which Martin Lewis quipped: "Because I'm not stupid!" with Laura adding: "Yes, well done, very very close…"

Aside from GMB, Laura has written a book, Everyday Ways to Save Our Planet, which was published last year

It features over a 100 ways we can make sustainable swaps in our every day lives. And it appears her four year old daughter Charlotte has caught the eco bug too.

"If I go to put stuff in the bin she’ll go, “Mummy, no!” She knows if it can’t be recycled it’ll go into a hole in the ground [landfill]," Laura said.

She added: "We had to buy some plastic last year to cover our allotment and when we were in Wilkinson’s she said, 'Mummy, why are you buying plastic? It ruins our planet.'

"I explained that we needed this plastic but I could see the person next to me in the shop thinking, 'How are you going to get out of that one?!'"
