Harry Styles is many things: a rock star, a Hollywood heartthrob, a fashion influence, Stevie Nicks’s love child. And the list just keeps growing, as now, we can also anoint him as one-time dogsitter.
During a virtual interview with Jimmy Fallon for The Tonight Show, Emma Corrin, who plays a young Princess Diana in Season 4 of Netflix’s The Crown, revealed that the former One Direction member once took care of her dog, Spencer.
“He once dogsat for me,” she said. “The thing I love about this is that also my dog has no idea, which is I think the wonderful thing about it. That for a dog, it’s just a person.”
She went on to explain that the dogsitting opportunity of a lifetime was granted to Styles after she grabbed a bite to eat near his home.
“I was having dinner sort of near where he lives,” she continued. “He looked after Spencer for me, but not again. He hasn’t done it again. And I think it’s because, halfway through the meal, I got a message that just said, ‘He won’t stop farting. Is this normal?'”

In other news, Corrin recently spoke to BAZAAR.com about another man in her life. Elaborating on portraying Lady Di in The Crown, Corrin dished about the relationship between Princess Diana and Prince Charles (played by Josh O’Connor). “I feel if you ask anyone, the average person would probably say, ‘Oh, it was doomed to fail. It was never going to work. It was a mistake. They didn’t love each other,'” she said.
“But we were like, ‘Surely, that can’t be true.’ They got married, they had two children together, and those two children have grown up to be such great guys, from what I know. I mean, I don’t know them. But there must have been something there. And it was actually more interesting for us to go along that line of there being a love there, but it was just a love that they couldn’t make work, which is actually, I think, more interesting.”
