Neil Young, Norah Jones and Father John Misty have been announced as headliners for the Harvest Moon benefit concert.
The single-day concert will raise money for the Painted Turtle and the Bridge School, which provides free education to children with severe speech and physical impediments.
The Harvest Moon daytime benefit concert will take place at the Painted Turtle camp in Los Angeles on September 14.
“Shortly after the date for the event was selected and Young agreed to perform, organizers realized that Sept. 14 was the day of the night of the Harvest Moon, which enhances the specialness of the occasion,” according to a press statement.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. PST on Friday, July 19. Each ticket will include an all-star celebrity chef picnic cooked and served by SoCal’s top chefs as well as a beer and wine tasting from select California breweries and wineries.
