HelloFresh has ended their partnership with actress Lea Michele after allegations she made a co-star’s life a ‘living hell’.
The company, which is a popular weekly recipe-kit delivery service, have been working with the former Glee star since the start of the year.
However, the pregnant star has made headlines on Tuesday (June 2) after her former Glee co-star Samantha Ware 28, called her out over her tweet about the Black Lives Matter movement.
And the claims led one fan to ask the brand: ‘@HelloFresh should probably cut ties with @LeaMichele …it’s only a matter of time before people stop buying your products bc you support her #hellofresh #LeaMicheleIsOverParty.’
And the company responded: ‘HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele.
‘We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately.’
He added in response to a critic who asked why he took pictures with Lea on Broadway that he was ‘being polite’.
Lea, who is currently expecting her first baby with husband Zandy Reich, began her career on Broadway in Les Misérables, before landing the role of Rachel Berry on Glee.
Metro.co.uk has approached Michele’s rep for comment.
