Holly Willoughby shares ‘orgasm anxiety’ tips and jokes about sex with Bridgerton character

Holly Willoughby has shared her advice for ‘orgasm anxiety’ as she jokes about having sex with the Duke from Bridgerton.

The This Morning star, 42, started her lifestyle brandWylde Moontwo years ago which gives wellness and beauty advice, as well as selling a variety of home products.

On the site’s blog, the star has published a post giving her readers advice on reaching that “elusive climax” as she says they are “not alone” in their struggles.

Holly writes about how film and TV shows often feature characters having a “fantastic sex life” and joked about “sh***ing the Duke from Bridgerton”.

The star wrote: “We’re all friends here, so I’m going to get straight to it; do you ever find yourself feeling frustrated, stressed, or anxious because you just can’t seem to reach orgasm? Or maybe you can have a wonderful time when you’re on your own, but with a partner you never quite manage to experience the same feelings? You’re not alone.”

“It seems like we’re constantly surrounded by TV shows, film scenes and stories of everybody having a fantastic sex life, doesn’t it?

“When a show or a film has a scripted sex scene with a straight couple, all it seems to take is a man unzipping his fly for a woman to start to feel herself in the throes of orgasm, which, to be fair, could be a reasonable representation of s****ing the Duke from Bridgerton…”

Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page shot to fame when he appeared as Duke Simon Basset in the raunchy Netflix period drama in 2020, where he starred alongside Phoebe Dynevor.

Holly launched her lifestyle brand in late 2021, which sells homeware items such as candles and perfumes. The site also offers make-up, lifestyle and wellness advice to fans as well as diving into Holly’s love of crystals and astrology.

After the launch, she defended her “wacky” new lifestyle brand from critics, saying she expected there to be a few raised eyebrows at her new business venture.

Speaking to Grazia, she said: "I’m not afraid of the reaction to it any more. If it doesn’t fit with what your thoughts and expectations of me are, well then there’s nothing I can do about it. I can’t change that. I don’t want to change that. And I’m not going to change that. This is me."

She added: "I think that people struggle with some of the ideas. The moment that I launched Wylde Moon, the word 'wacky' got used a lot.

"I expected that. And that’s fine. I can’t change that. I’m not here to force any of this on anybody.

"It’s not 'come and meditate with me' or 'look at the moon and play a sound-bowl'. It’s please go and do that thing that makes your heart sing. Go and do you."
