Holly Willoughby’s cryptic post about ‘challenges’ after Schofield fallout

Holly Willoughby’s This Morning statement

Holly Willoughby has shared a cryptic post about feeling “worthy of happiness” and facing “difficult challenges” following Phillip Schofield’s resignation.

The 42-year-old took to her Instagram account which hosts her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon to share some inspirational quotes with her 179,000 followers.

As a believer in the power of manifestation, the This Morning presenter hoped her positive affirmations would motivate fans who may be going through any turmoil in their own lives.

The post was captioned: “Affirmations might seem cheesy if you’ve never tried them before, but they really do work. At the link in our bio, discover how to create your own, personalised affirmations that will make a difference.

“Do you use affirmations? Feel free to share any in the comments that might help someone else in our WYLDE MOON community.”

She shared a series of quotes, as one read: “I am stronger than all the challenges and difficulties that stand in my way.”

Another said: “I am worthy of love, respect and compassion.”

It has been a challenging couple of weeks for Holly who has been caught up in Phillip’s affair scandal despite having no knowledge of his relationship with his colleague.

Holly released a statement insisting that she felt “let down” by Phillip, adding that she knew nothing about his affair with the young This Morning colleague.

The disgraced former host of the ITV daytime series reflected on his friendship with Holly after he quit following reports of a feud between the presenting duo.

In an interview with BBC’s Amol Rajan, Phillip said he text Holly about the scandal to apologise for lying to her about the affair.

“The last time we had a conversation was when I texted Holly and said, ‘Don’t reply’ – this was after the statement last week – ‘Don’t reply, you’re probably not allowed to, but I am deeply deeply sorry that I lied to you,’” he said.

He also told The Sun that the affair “was the one secret in our sanctuary that was never mentioned”, adding that he has “lost my best friend”.
