Ice-T says that his friend Dr. Dre is making progress amid his recovery from a brain aneurysm.
The entertainer, 62, whose full name is Tracy Lauren Marrow, sent an optimistic message on social media letting people know about his fellow rapper’s road back to health, as the Dre Day artist, 55, remains in intensive care at Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
‘Just talked to the homie @drdre,’ the Law & Order: SVU actor said. ‘He’s doing good and hopefully he’ll be home soon… But let’s keep him in our prayers. For a full recovery.’

The Newark, New Jersey native took to Twitter a day after TMZ reported that sources close to the rapper said that his doctors continue to probe what triggered the aneurysm.
Insiders told the outlet that Dr. Dre’s relatives have been told that a ‘bad outcome’ is not likely for the rapper in the medical incident.
Last week, the Compton, California native put out a statement indicating he was on the upswing in the wake of the January 5 health emergency that occurred at his home in Pacific Palisades, California.
‘Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,’ he said. ‘I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!’

Amid the fallout of the incident, the former N.W.A. member and his estranged wife Nicole, 51, have reached a temporary accord in their ongoing divorce proceedings, as People reported Monday that a California court ordered the ailing musical artist to pay her $2 million.
‘André shall maintain the financial status quo,’ court docs stated, ‘including but not limited to‚ the payment of all of Nicole’s expenses consistent with her spending since [the] date of separation, which includes paying for all expenses relating to the Malibu residence and the residence in the Palisades.’
