James Argent was one of many whose fence panels took a battering as Storm Eunice rampaged across the UK on Friday.
The former Towie star, 34, was seen getting stuck in to clearing up the damage outside his new home in Essex as the winds and rain continued on Saturday.
James, who recently lost 13 stone in weight, wore jeans and a grey sweatshirt as he and a friend attempted to retrieve the parts of his fence which were blown away by the high winds which even broke records at 122mph in some parts of the country.
The reality star was seen looking concerned at the scenes he found outside his home, holding his head in his hands at one point.
However, he didn’t dwell on the problem for too long and soon hopped over his brick wall and started collecting the large panels which had been blown into the street and putting them back in his yard where a friend helped him move them.
James moved into the property a few months ago and reflected on buying his dream home as he turned 34 in December.
He shared a photo of him sitting in his garden with the house behind him, writing: ‘I’ve got lots to be proud of. My weight loss, My beloved @theargband & the house that I always dreamed of buying but never thought I’d be able to get.
‘Hopefully in 2022 I’ll meet the love of my life but most importantly stay happy & healthy!’
Arg was photographed by the MailOnline visiting a daily rehab unit in Essex last week after reportedly having a ‘blip’ in his recovery after turning his life around last year.

It was claimed by the outlet that Arg would be visiting the facility daily and not checking in overnight as part of an extended stay at a residential unit.
The singer had been visited by an ambulance recently after friends grew concerned when they couldn’t get hold of him.
A source told The Sun: ‘James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough.
‘Unfortunately it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called.’
Arg had spent the last year turning his life around after getting sober and losing 13 stone in weight after finding he’d crept up to 27 stone at his heaviest.
