James Jordan, 41, certainly isn’t one to hold back on sharing his opinions and he was back at it on Twitter today to discuss Gorka Marquez not having a celebrity partner on Strictly Come Dancing this year.
Gorka, 28, confirmed his position on the BBC One competition will change this series and instead will only be involved in the main group dances.
James, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing as a professional for eight years, said the decision to remove Gorka from the main line-up was a “waste of talent”.
He tweeted to his 255,900 followers: “Just seen that @gorkamarquez1 isn’t going to be one of the main pros this year on Strictly…. wow!!!
What a waste of a brilliant talented dancer

“What a waste of a brilliant talented dancer who made a big impact since he joined.”
James added: “Maybe he doesn’t tick quite enough boxes for the show.”
However, James said he was “happy” for Neil Jones, who will reportedly get a celebrity partner this time round.
“But so happy for @Mr_NJones,” he said, alongside a thumbs up emoji.
Many of James’ fans agreed with his viewpoint, with others commenting to say how disappointed they are with new dad Gorka not having a major part on the show.
One person wrote: “I cannot believe it! I’ve always thought @Mr_NJones deserves a place but so gutted @gorkamarquez1 has been left out. I hope it’s only temporary and that he will be back with a partner next year!
Another wrote: “Totally agree with you James. So frustrating, Gorka is an awesome dancer, I feel for him. So glad for Neil though too, long overdue!!! X.”
A third said: “Everyone’s implying Neil’s ‘replaced’ Gorka this isn’t the case, it’s just a reshuffle, Pasha has left so they could easily have had Gorka AND Neil partnered.”
Yesterday, Gorka shared a statement on his Instagram account where he revealed he “sadly” wouldn’t be dancing with a celebrity this time round.
Alongside a photo of himself, he said: “For everybody that’s been asking, I can let you know that this series, I sadly won’t be partnered with a celebrity for the main series of Strictly.
“However, I will still be heavily involved in all of the group numbers and all things Strictly!”
“I’m excited to see this year’s celebs and my fellow professionals dance for the Glitter Ball and I hope to be back fighting for it next year,” he continued.
“As always, it’s gonna be a GREAT series.”
Gorka hinted he didn’t take the decision lightly as he made a dig at the show in the comment section.
One person quizzed the star: “Nooo… why? You are a brilliant dancer. I hope it’s your choice so you can spend more time with mum and baby.”
Gorka replied: “Not really LOL,” followed by a shoulder shrug emoji before adding: “But I will” in reference to spending time with his girlfriend Gemma Atkinson and their baby daughter, Mia.
