Jane Fonda speaks at Starbucks employee rally
Jane Fonda is known for her activism, so it’s no surprise that she’s come out in support of the Hollywood actors and writers currently on strike.
The 85-year-old addressed the crowd who were striking outside the Netflix studios in Los Angeles yesterday.
However, Jane appeared frail and was helped off-stage after reportedly overheating, according to the MailOnline.
The actress, who was wearing a SAG AFTRA STRONG shirt and a sunhat, was seen sitting in a chair with her head down whilst those around her helped.
Earlier in the day, she was seen walking along the picket line supporting strikers.

In her speech to the workers, who are calling for better pay conditions and protection against AI, Jane said: “These workers aren’t asking for that much, I mean, come on.
“They are simply calling for a safe, secure, and respectful workforce with a living wage, And the right to organize free from fear, intimidation and coercion.”
The crowd cheered as she also praised the solidarity of Starbucks workers.
She continued to say: “Take Starbucks workers united – in the face of unprecedented illegal union busting by Starbucks – Starbucks workers united epitomizes a new wave of modern organizing – this campaign is largely driven by young workers, most of whom are from marginalized communities who really need a contract.”

Jane’s speech came after SAG-AFTRA workers reached their second week of strikes alongside the Writers Guild of America members, who’ve been out since early May.
However, the weather has caused challenging conditions for those striking, hitting highs of 92 degrees most days.
Whilst promoting her latest movie Book Club: The Next Chapter, Jane told Sky News that she and her other cast mates were supportive of the strike action.
She said: “We understand why they’re striking – the business is very different than it used to be, it’s hard to earn a good living in this business nowadays,
“We’re not talking about the top, top stars, but, you know, the average worker and with the streaming services and no more residuals, it gets very complicated.
“So, yes, we support the writers, and we’re very concerned, though, about the below-the-line crew people who may not work for a while at a time when rents are going up and inflation is going up, and so we’re worried about that, but we we’re all for the writers.”
