John Legend has opened up about wanting to expand his family with wife Chrissy Teigen.
The pair are parents to daughter Luna and son Miles, and have a baby on the way – two years after they medically terminated Jack over devastating pregnancy complications.
Speaking about their growing brood, the All Of Me singer revealed they are already thinking about having more children after the author gives birth.
‘Chrissy, I think, wants more,’ he laughed in a new interview. ‘I’m one of four, so I’m cool with it. I was like, once you get into that zone it’s a lot of folks – especially when you’re traveling, [it] gets difficult.
‘Chrissy and I, we get on a lot of planes together and once you have four kids, it gets logistically – it gets complicated.’
John has a lot of work in the pipeline, including his Love in Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood’s Zappo’s Theater, but is planning to put work on the back burner when their new baby comes.
‘I’m gonna take a break for sure when we have the new baby,’ he added to Entertainment Tonight. ‘But we’ll go back on the road and celebrate this album.
‘We got a lot of songs that we’re excited to play live. And it’ll be exciting to do that on the road.’
Chrissy recently opened up about losing her baby five months into her pregnancy, explaining that their son died due to a medical termination in order to save her own life.

In August, she announced that she is pregnant again, but said that she was ‘nervous’ about the experience.
John was later questioned on how his partner’s pregnancy journey was progressing during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, and shared that they had been ‘cautiously optimistic’.
‘Whenever you lose a pregnancy it is always cautious optimism when you are pregnant again, because you never know what could happen and you have experienced that tragedy of losing one…,’ he said. ‘So your optimism is a little bit tempered by that.
‘But everything has been great so far and we are really excited.
‘The kids are excited, we are all excited and can’t wait to welcome this new baby into the world.’
