AceShowbiz –Kaitlyn Bristowe is not holding back. The former “The Bachelorette” star took aim at the franchise’s creator Mike Fleiss during her recent interview with comedian Nikki Glaser in the latest episode of “Talkhouse Podcast”.
During the Tuesday, October 8 episode, the 34-year-old TV personality accused Mike of blocking her from going on “Dancing with the Stars“. She went on saying, “I’ll tell you exactly why I can’t go on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Anybody that listens to this podcast knows why I cannot go on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. And it’s because, and I will say this with a mic in my hand and a smile on face, that Mike Fleiss is a piece of s**t.”
As if that was not enough, Kaitlyn went on claiming, “He is the creator of ‘The Bachelor‘, and he hates women.”
This is not the first time Kaitlyn accused Mike of keeping her from competing on another ABC reality show. Back in 2017, a fan asked her on Twitter, “why does a bachelorette never get this gig @BachelorABC?!? I wanted to see @kaitlynbristowe share her tail feather!” to which she responded, “Actually I was offered it, had the contract & Mike Fleiss told me I wasn’t allowed. He said he didnt want people wanting fame after his show.”
Mike denied the allegations and wrote, “@kaitlynbristowe has my total support if she wants to appear on DWTS!!!” It didn’t take long before Kaitlyn replied, “That I’ll get right on that opportunity 2 yrs ago. I wonder what changed your mind?”
Up until now, four Bachelors competed on “DWTS” including Jake Pavelka, Sean Lowe, Chris Soules and Nick Viall. As for the ladies, only two Bachelorettes appeared on the show after Hannah Brown, who is currently competing in season 28, joined Trista Sutter who competed in the show’s premiere season in 2005. “Bachelor” contestant Melissa Rycroft appeared on “DWTS” twice in season 8 and 15, in which she won the Mirrorball trophy.
