Kanye West wants to change his name to ‘Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West’ and we have some serious questions.
The 42-year-old revealed his plans during an appearance at Fast Company’s Innovation Festival, when discussing his billionaire status.
According to People, the dad-of-four joked: ‘When people say it’s crass to call yourself a billionaire, I say I might legally change my name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West for a year until y’all understand exactly what it is.
‘It will be on the license plate.’
Not sure that mouthful will fit on a number plate, hun.
Yeezy also lifted the lid on his plans to run for president, explaining he has a few things in mind for his potential time in the White House.
President Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West does have a ring to it.
‘When I run for president in 2024…,’ Kim Kardashian’s husband told the audience, who started laughing.
He continued: ‘What y’all laughing at?
‘I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk. What they’re saying is Kanye’s crazy — one and three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing because they’re so scared.’
Could you imagine Kim as the First Lady of the United States?
The reality star recently made headlines as she opened up on their marriage, explaining she found herself arguing with Kanye more as he went on a journey with religion.
He delighted fans by finally blessing us all with new album Jesus Is King, but Kim revealed it has taken a toll on the family, as Ye became stricter with their four kids – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
During an appearance on The Talk, the 39-year-old said: ‘I do think that he is my husband. So, I obviously want to honour him and what he’s feeling. And he’s been going through this life change, and it’s mostly about the kids.
‘We got rid of TVs in the kids’ rooms and removed makeup from North’s room – and he’s been very… had this, you know, epiphany of being this – not that he wasn’t an amazing dad – but being a little bit more strict as a dad and being very forceful on the imagery that’s in our household and what they see.
But the 39-year-old drew the line when it came to herself.
‘But I’m always going to be me, and so, we had that discussion and that fight,’ she added.
‘I think, at the end of the day that’s what marriage is. He’s going to do things that I don’t agree with, and I support him, and vice versa.
‘So, with this, it was like we were like just having this conversation of what is too much and I am a mother of four, like, I am going to be forty next year.’
Fair enough.
