Pre-death instructions
Sinéad O’Connor gave her children very specific instructions on what to do in the event of her intimacy demise. “See, when the artists are dead, they’re much more valuable than when they’re alive,” she told People magazine in 2021. “Tupac [Shakur] has released way more albums since he died than he ever did alive, so it’s kind of gross what record companies do.” The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer, who passed on July 26, preached to her kids when they were “very small” to call her finance people before anyone else, including medics. She recalled telling them that if she “drops dead tomorrow, before you called 911, call my accountant and make sure the record companies don’t start releasing my records and not telling you where the money is.” Sinead is survived by three children, Jake, 36, daughter Roisin, 27, and son Yeshua, 16. Her 17-year-old son Shane died in January 2022, and Sinead was never able to get over it, friends said. Sinead’s death is “not being treated as suspicious,” police said.

Another scary moment
Olympian Bode Miller and his wife are detailing a scary incident that sent one of their young children to the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning. On Instagram, the ski great said a construction crane was to blame. “Earlier this week we had a crane parked in our driveway for a few hours. Despite keeping the kids inside for obvious safety reasons, the little ones got really sick from it,” Bodie wrote. But, his 3 ½-year-old twin son Asher ended up in the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning. Bodie’s wife, pro volleyball player Morgan Miller, shared images from the hospital and gave more details about the incident. “Two weeks ago, we had a crane at our house to remove our broken hot tub,” she wrote on Instagram. “Asher, Aksel and Scarlet innocently stood on the front step of our house to watch the action which resulted in them getting carbon monoxide poisoning due to the lack of airflow in our driveway landing them in the ER. They were on high flow oxygen for over four hours. It was a terrifying experience but thanking my lucky stars they are okay.” Back in 2018, Bodie and Morgan’s 19-month-old daughter Emmy accidentally drown in a swimming pool.

GoFundMe clap back
Megan Fox is slamming haters who’ve criticized her for promoting a friend’s GoFundMe account. Earlier in the week, the “Transformers” actress asked her Instagram followers to donate to a fund set up for her nail tech’s father who was diagnosed with cancer. Fans slammed Megan, as many claimed she should donate because she’s worth an estimated $8 million. By Thursday, July 27, Megan had seen enough of her generosity being questioned. “hey weirdos,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “do any of you have the emotional intelligence to consider that maybe [her friend] brit doesn’t want her celebrity clients donating large sums of money to her because it creates a dynamic in her working relationships that makes her uncomfortable?” Megan said Brittney Boyce, her nail tech, simply asked the actress to share the fundraising page with her 21 million Instagram followers. “i just obliged her request anything she needs from me personally she will ask and i will do it privately,” Megan said. “one thing you’re not going to accuse me of it being miserly or lacking generosity. so try again on another day (probably tmrw!) with some different bull**** you bunch of psychos.” The fund’s initial goal was set at $30,000, which is the same amount Megan’s fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, paid for a diamond-encrusted manicure last year.

Co-star claims
One of Jamie Lynn Spears’ former “Zoey 101” co-stars claims Britney’s sister made the workplace “very toxic.” Alexa Nikolas, who starred on the Nickelodeon show for two seasons, made the accusations on the YouTube podcast channel H3. “I got put through the wringer on that show, it was a pretty bad three years,” she said. “Jamie Lynn Spears just created a very toxic, unhealthy work environment.” The former actress said Britney’s sister didn’t like her from the get go. “She was just very taken aback by my personality, I think, and just kind of gave me the cold shoulder,” Alexa said. Soon after, things “escalated” to bullying. “It just started to snowball, basically, and then it became bullying where she would just say harsh things to me like, ‘Why do you smile so much?’ You know like this kid bullying s*** basically. But you know, at that time it hurt. When I was a kid,” Alexa alleged, claiming Jamie Lynn “created the culture of the set.” She added, “And her not liking me made everyone else kind of feel like, I think, they had to also engage in that type of behavior.”
On hold
The Primetime Emmy Awards, a staple of television’s fall season, has fallen victim to the actor’s and writer’s strikes. Numerous media outlets have confirmed that the Emmys, originally scheduled for Sept. 18, are being postponed. The reports comes two weeks after Emmy nominations were announced. Variety reported that vendors, producers and others involved with the awards show were being informed of the postponement. The last time the Emmys were postponed came in 2001 in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. A new date has yet to be announced, but it likely won’t happen until the simultaneous strikes are settled.
Booted from the bar
“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Shannon Beador was kicked out of a bar after “screaming” at the daughter of an ex-boyfriend. Page Six said the reality TV star was at Tiki Bar in Costa Mesa, Calif., when the shouting incident went down. Citing an eyewitness, the report said Shannon was “wasted” and “had to be held back and removed by security.” John Janssen, the TV star’s ex, was at the bar with Shannon. What caused the issue with John’s daughter isn’t known. Page Six said it has seen “numerous photos of men in Tiki Bar security shirts physically escorting an upset- and disheveled-looking Beador off the premises.” Shannon’s ex downplayed the incident and indicated the whole party was asked to leave, but only because the bar was closing. “Yes, there was an argument, but it was at the end of the night, the lights were up, and everyone was being asked to leave,” he proclaimed.
