Laurence Fox has his house searched by the Police
Laurence Fox has shared a video appearing to show police officers raiding his home. In a clip shared to The Reclaim Party’s Twitter account, the actor can be seen sitting on a sofa while police wearing blue plastic gloves search the property with plastic bags.
Laurence said: “Look how many coppers there are in my house. Look at them. Coming to take everything out of my house. That ladies and gentlemen is the country that we live in.”
A Reclaim Party spokesperson wrote in the caption: “Live now @LozzaFox is having his house searched by the police.”
Express.co.uk has contacted the Metropolitan Police.
The video comes after Laurence was suspended from GB News following sexist comments about political journalist Ava Evans.
Appearing on Dan Wootton’s show last week, Laurence said of Ava: “Show me a single self-respecting man that would like to climb into bed with that woman…Who would want to shag that?” As Wootton could be seen smiling and laughing.
The moment sparked huge backlash and both Laurence and Dan were suspended, with both GB News and Ofcom launching investigations.
In the following days, Laurence issued an apology to the journalist for “demeaning” her.
Speaking in a video shared to X, formerly known as Twitter, he said: “Ava, so I’m sorry for demeaning you in that way however angry I am with you still for doing that. And it demeans me because it’s not representative of who I am.”
