Amanda Holden explains her clothing difficulties
Les Dennis and Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden wed in 1995 when he was 40 and she was 22. Their marriage lasted five years until they separated when it emerged Amanda had an affair with Men Behaving Badly’s Neil Morrissey.
Les, 69, was left heartbroken by the betrayal but has gone on to find love again with his third wife, Claire Nicholson.
Amanda also remarried record producer Chris Hughes and they both share two daughters.
Seaking 20 years after their divorce was finalised, Les says he has “healed” from the hurt he suffered after the breakdown of their marriage.
He told The Sunday Times: “Amanda was in the papers recently, saying some nice things about me. That was very kind of her.
“Maybe with time she has been able to look back and see things differently. We’re not in touch but I am happy that she’s happy.
“I can watch Britain’s Got Talent without getting angry. To be honest it’s like watching a different person, someone I’ve never met.”
He concluded: “All the hurt that has happened has been healed.”
Amanda has previously said that her split from Les was the worst time of her life and admitted that she had “brought it on” herself.

She also credited the former Family Fortunes host for “saving her” during such a difficult time, adding to the Daily Mail in 2009: “Les proved to be my saviour, ironically. So the person I’d hurt the most in the world was the one who was there for me.”
Amanda later cited “problems” in her marriage as a reason behind the affair.
She told Good Housekeeping in 2013: “I don’t believe women have affairs for no reason. Women don’t seek sex – we seek love and affirmation.
“If a woman has an affair, there is normally a problem in their marriage. Neil rightly or wrongly got loads of stick. I feel like it was my fault – I was the one who was married.”

Neil also apologised to Les for the affair during his appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2014.
He told Amanda’s ex BGT co-star: “I feel sorry for how the situation was dealt with and I feel sorry for how emotional Les seemed to become.
“It was very difficult for him and for that I’m very sorry.”
