Now that his relationship with Miley Cyrus is a thing in the past, Liam Hemsworth is ready to move on with his life.
Just two months after filing from divorce from the singer, Hemsworth is now open to meeting new people and potentially finding love again.
While he isn’t in a rush to find a new love interest, we can easily assume that it won’t be long before someone else has captured his heart.
Hemsworth isn’t giving up on love just yet
It’s been two months since sources revealed that Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus split and many of us still aren’t over this news.
After just eight months of marriage, it was confirmed that the couple decided to go their separate ways.
While the reasoning for their split is still up in the air, a rep for Cyrus told People in a statement that the breakup was, in fact, mutual.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” it read.
The statement also noted, “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Despite there being no hard feelings, the Hunger Games actor still filed for divorce from Cyrus cited “irreconcilable differences” in the paperwork the same month news of their break up made headlines.
Since going their separate ways, Cyrus has been living her best life and dating freely.
As for Hemsworth, he’s been taking time to himself, but it has been reported that he is now ready to get back into the dating scene.
According to Us Weekly, although the actor hasn’t dated anyone since breaking up with the singer, he is now “open to meeting people.”
With Hemsworth slowly easing himself backing into dating, it might be a while before we hear any new updates on his love life.
Cyrus hasn’t been taking a slow approach to dating
Unlike Hemsworth who took some time to cope with their split, Cyrus didn’t waste any time putting herself back out there.
Soon after news of their split made headlines, Cyrus was spotted kissing The Hills: New Beginnings star, Kaitlynn Carter, while vacationing in Italy.
Although their romance seemed to be heading in the right direction, Cyrus ended their relationship after just one month due to things moving too fast.
A few weeks after splitting from Carter, Cyrus was seen packing on the PDA with longtime friend, Cody Simpson.
In a video obtained by TMZ, the pair was spotted in an LA eatery engaging in what seemed to be a serious conversation before the “Wrecking Ball” singer sat on Simpson’s lap and the two began kissing.
Since then, Cyrus and Simpson have been sharing non-stop photos of each other on social media, making it clear that something is definitely going on between them.
On October 8, the singer even referred to Simpson as her “BF” when sharing photos of him visiting her in the hospital.
“BF coming to visit me @ the hospy,” Cyrus captioned a photo of herself in a hospital bed that she shared to her Instagram Story.
Despite the couple’s public displays of affection and constant online flirting, a source recently revealed that Cyrus and Simpson have “no plans to start dating each other exclusively.”
“Miley and Cody have been friends for years,” the source told Entertainment Tonight. “They have hooked up in the past… They both just want to have fun and are open and honest with each other about that.”
The source continued, “Miley and Cody talk to each other about everything. They are very close and feel comfortable sharing details with each other about their lives.”
