Lil Nas X dropped his first “Panini” remix featuring DaBaby on streaming services last Friday. Lil Nas X also released an animated music video to go alongside the remix.
“Panini” was originally featured on Lil Nas X’s debut EP 7. The project featured contributions from Travis Barker, Cardi B, and Billy Ray Cyrus.
In the “Panini” remix, DaBaby mentions how people compared his cowboy-themed “Walker Texas Ranger” visual to “Old Town Road.”
“She watched that ‘Walker Texas Ranger,’ say I remind her of Nas X/ I’m talkin’ ‘Old Town Road,’ all my hoes down low/ They like girls and I like girls, 3 at a time, sometimes 4,” he raps.
When announcing the release of “Panini Remix,” Lil Nas X joked that it would be the first of 25 remixes. “PANINI REMIX 1 OF 25 TONIGHT,” he tweeted.
