Country superstar Luke Combs knocked his counterpart Morgan Wallen out of the top spot on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart after his new album Growin’ Up debuted atop the chart.
Growin’ Up terminated Dangerous: The Double Album‘s 63 week-reign, which started shortly after its release on January 8, 2021.
Combs earned his fourth No. 1 debut on Top Country Albums Chart, as Growin’ Up earned 74,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate. Of that 74,000, 44,000 are streaming equivalent album units, 28,000 are albums, and 2,000 are track equivalent albums.
Growin’ Up simultaneously bowed at No. 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
Meanwhile, Combs is set to kick off his Middle Of Somewhere Tour with special guest Jordan Davis on September 2 in Bangor, Maine.
Morgan Wade and Lainey Wilson will also perform on select dates.
