Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, 42, and former Disney Channel actress Brenda Song, 34, have welcomed a second child together. Succession star and Macaulay’s brother Kieran Culkin, 40, confirmed the happy news after rumours began circulating a few months ago that Brenda had given birth to a baby son called Carson around Christmas time.
Kieran has now publicly shared the couple’s happy news after previous speculation, after speaking about how busy schedules and long distances has meant he hasn’t had the chance to meet his nephew yet.
The Social Network actress Brenda previously gave birth to her first son Dajota with Macaulay in April 2021.
Kieran is also a father-of-two, welcoming three-year-old daughter Kinsey Sioux and son Wilder Wolf with wife Jazz Charton, 34.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Kieran explained: “Well, the cousins live in Los Angeles, we live in New York.
“I have a one-year-old and a three-year-old and, as busy as I am, there is no getting on a plane and going, and same with them.
“I haven’t met No. 2 yet and they haven’t met [my] No. 2 yet either, cause we just haven’t been able to figure that out.”
The actor went on to explain how his children’s young age has made him reluctant to make the lengthy journey across the country to meet up with his brother’s family.
He said: “We have a one-and-a-half-year-old, the first go around we did that, she was about 19 months, I think – nightmare.
“She’s three-and-a-half now – now she’s good on a plane – but our son is about a year-and-a-half, so we’re not getting him on a plane anytime soon. It’s just a nightmare.”
US Weekly reported that Brenda and Macaulay had welcomed baby number two last week.

A source told the publication they were also already planning on adding to their family, while Brenda described them both as “hands-on” parents.
“My fiancé and I are very hands-on. We don’t have a nanny, but my mum has been here with us since my son was born,” she said.
“When I was working, my mum would bring [my son] to set so I could breastfeed and see him during the day.”
Last year, the former child stars became engaged after being romantically linked for five years.
“They are and always have been very in love with each other,” a source added to the same publication.
Meanwhile, Kieran tied the knot with former British fashion model Jazz back in 2013.
