Thomas Hartley has announced he will report "threatening" messages to police after receiving backlash over his "sickening" podcast comments.
Married At First Sight UK star Thomas appeared on the What's Happenin' podcast last week and his conversation with the hosts included a number of horrific jokes abut Jenna Robinson's late father.
While he's since apologised for his comments, the fallout from his actions has continued and the 31 year old has now said he will go to police if he receives threatening messages from people.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Thomas wrote over a black background: "My messages are turned off. They won't be getting turned back on. You can message me on cameo, or business enquiries go through the business email.
"If you are following or unfollowing, I don't need an explanation, however if you want me to block you, just comment something abusive, however if it is inciting hate or threatening, it will be reported to the police."
Prior to this announcement, he shared a video of himself reiterating his regret over the comments he made on the podcast, explaining that he's had time to "reflect".
"I have made a huge, huge mistake," he said before sharing: "Those that it's personality upset I've apologised to them directly."
He then said he is "very resilient" about trolling. "I'm not fussed about the trolling thing, it's fine. I'm super resilient."
In a post, he added: "Nobody can beat me up as much as myself believe me."
Thomas' message that he's apologised to the people he hurt directly comes after Jenna, 33, took to her own Instagram story to react to the entire ordeal.
Jenna, who recently shared BTS show secrets and opened up on life after MAFS with Zoe Clifton, wrote: "Thank you to those of you who have reached out to check in on me. It really means a lot.
"Honestly I'm struggling a little with what I've heard. And although for them it's a laughable joke at my expense, I'm now having to deal with the aftermath of my family potentially hearing what I've heard and I'm trying my best to prevent that from happening."
She added: "As for the so-called public 'apology' it's yet another stab in the back. Not an ounce of remorse or respect and just to add I've had no personal apology either."
