MAFS UK’s Adam and Tayah evacuated from home due to field fire: ‘Please stay safe everyone’

Married at First Sight stars Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria have shared the terrifying news that they have been evacuated from their homes due to an unexpected wildfire.

As temperatures across the country have continued to soar, so too have the number of fires taking place, with widespread blazes tearing through both rural and city locations across the breadth of the UK.

One of the fires was located in Doncaster, where the couple share their home, with Adam revealing how close the blaze had got to them in a series of Instagram posts.

He wrote: “Fields on fire at the back of my house. Wow it’s hot," as the star revealed the extent of the blaze in a piece of footage taken from his window.

In the video clips, huge plumes of smoke can be seen billowing into the air, as the couple keep their windows and doors shut to avoid breathing in the dangerous fumes.

However in a later update, it was shown that the flames had now spread, with the police arriving on scene to evacuate them from their home as it was no longer safe to remain there.

In the update which Adam filmed from his garden, ash could be seen falling ominously from the sky as smoke continued to impair the visibility of the area around him.

Showcasing just how difficult it was becoming to see, Adam also shared a photo of the conditions, which closely resembled something out of a post-apocalyptic survival movie.

Tayah meanwhile, also updated fans on her social media feed, as she added: “Please stay safe everyone. We have a field fire right by our house at the moment.”

The latest blaze comes as the UK recorded record breaking temperatures in excess of 40°C on Tuesday, with several fires being reported in Central London as well as in more Northern areas of the country such as South Yorkshire.

In Doncaster alone, fire crews have responded to several large scale incidents as a result of the increasing heat, with fire officials at South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue urging the public to take extra precautions while pleading with them not to go swimming in open water to cool off and not to take BBQ's to the countryside or park.
