The comedian, best known for his role as Day-Day Jones in ‘Next Friday’, and his wife Kyra Epps take to Instagram to share the good news that they have welcomed a baby girl, Indiana Rose Epps.
AceShowbiz –Mike Epps is a proud father to a beautiful daughter. Days after he and his wife Kyra Epps welcomed their first child together, the “Dolemite Is My Name” actor has made use of his social media account to share with fans a first look at his newborn baby girl.
On Sunday, March 22, the comedian, best known for his role as Day-Day Jones in “Next Friday“, uploaded an Instagram video of his baby girl decked in pink. “Allow us to introduce to you our newest addition to the family……..INDIANA ROSE EPPS she rollin her eyes all ready,” he wrote in an accompanying caption of the post. “we are so greatful God thank you for a healthy baby!”
The 49-year-old star quickly received congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities. His “Next Friday” co-star Michael Blackson responded by commenting, “Yessir congrats welcome lil Baby Day Day.” Actor Martin Lawrence chimed in, “Congrats brotha! Nothin but love to you and your family.” Comedian Page Kennedy pointed out, “I told you she came out camera ready,” while comedienne Wanda Sykes joked, “She looking like, ‘Did you wash your hands?’ “

Mike’s wife, Kyra, has also made use of social media to gush over their newborn. “My Indiana Rose Epps!” she exclaimed alongside a photo of her hugging the infant close. Detailing that Indiana weighed 9 pounds 12 ounces at time of her birth on March 12, she added,”Mommy loves you beyond what I can even understand.”
Mike and Kyra exchanged wedding vows at Pelican Hills Resort in New Port Beach, California in June 2019. During an appearance on “The View“, Mike opened up about the intimate ceremony. “It was hard (to not cry),” he spilled. “You know, you meet somebody so beautiful as Kyra and joy make me cry (sic) so I was just (balling).” He added, “I wanna marry her again, right now!”
Months after their wedding, the married couple announced they were expecting a newest addition to their family. “God bless my beautiful wife and our new born Epps on the way,” Mike wrote in a December 2019 post that captured Kyra cradling her baby bump. Kyra herself let out similar snap with note that read, “There is so much LIFE inside of me.”
