Miranda Lambert has announced that the release of her new album will coincide with her fall tour.
In an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, Lambert said the new album will be infused with a whole new energy.
“I would call it old Miranda, but a Miranda at a whole new level, if that makes any sense,” the country star said. “It’s not going to be love song overload or anything like that.”
“I made a career on being a rock and roller and I think fans are going to hear that throughout,” she added. “And yeah, there is this vibe of being happy that goes through this album. I am really, really happy.”
Lambert debuted a new song called “Locomotive” when she returned to the stage at CMA Fest in Nashville earlier this month after a 10-month break.
