Nicole Kidman cuts a stylish figure as she enjoys a day out with her mother Janelle after touching down in Sydney
Nicole Kidman is back in her native Australia for a visit and she’s wasted no time catching up with her mother, Janelle.
The 56-year-old Hollywood superstar enjoyed a day out in Sydney with her mum on Friday.
The pair, who headed to a friend’s home, cut stylish figures as they hopped into a car to their destination.
Nicole looked chic in a slim fit black blazer worn over a wool vest and white dress shirt, to which she added a tie.
The Stepford Wives actress had on a pair of wide cut beige trousers and a matching designer slouch bag.

She finished her look with a pair of large sunglasses and high end leather loafers, while wearing her hair in a half up do.
Janelle meanwhile went for a classy ensemble including a grey jumper over a navy blue polka dot dress shirt.
The matriarch added a pair of black trousers and small backpack, while carrying a puffer jacket over her arm.
She finished her look with designer sunglasses and a pair of comfortable black sneakers.

In an interview with the Fresh Air podcast recently, Nicole spoke briefly about her mother’s health issues.
She said they’d managed to visit the Art Gallery of New South Wales after-hours, where they took in the Matisse: Life & Spirit exhibition, describing it as ‘soothing balm’.
‘We’re down here primarily to take care of my mother and to have her surrounded by her grandchildren,’ she said.
‘So luckily yesterday, even though Omicron is raging through this country, we were able to take her into the gallery after hours and show her the Matisse exhibit, which coming from a mother who’s raised me in the arts, it was soothing balm.
She added to her look with a pair of large sunglasses and high end leather loafers

She also wore a smattering of accessories including dainty earrings

Later in the interview, Nicole said she felt privileged to be able to see the world through her mother’s eyes, describing it as ‘so beneficial’.
‘I’m at the place where I’m being given the chance to view the world, because of how close we are, my mum is giving me the chance to view the world through an 81-year-old woman’s eyes,’ she explained.
‘That is so beneficial right now, because she’s so cognisant. She has every brain faculty available, so she hasn’t lost anything. She hasn’t lost any memory, which is fascinating, and she’s extremely bright.

Nicole also shared a heartfelt birthday tribute to her mother live from the 2023 Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles.
The Australian actress and her husband Keith Urban were being interviewed by Sonia Kruger on The Morning Show, when she revealed it was her mum’s birthday.

‘The girls love it too. So we’re very much always back and forth. It’s a huge part of our life seeing my sister and all my nieces and nephews and mama,’ she said.
