Piers Morgan slams ‘young wokies’ at ITV
Piers Morgan was astonished to see a banner bearing his name at one of Liverpool’s Shindie (S*** Indie Disco) events.
He reposted the picture of a female pulling a face while holding the slogan “F*** Piers Morgan” above her head, sharing it with his two million Instagram followers.
“Great to see how popular I am on the Liverpool disco scene,” Piers chuckled, making a light-hearted joke of the moment.
He then mischievously added in reference to the slogan: “PS it won’t be happening, luv – sorry,”(sic) with a tears of laughter emoji inserted at the end.
In an added twist, the TalkTV broadcaster then received a private message from the person claiming to be in the snap, apologising profusely.

“Hi, I’m the girl in the photo holding the sign at Shindie,” they introduced herself.
“I grabbed the sign off my friend and held it up once, honestly didn’t even know what it said.
“Lesson learnt to read it before holding it up, apologies,” she told him, and fortunately Piers took the incident in good humour.
“UPDATE… don’t worry, I’ve done a few dumb things in nightclubs too – apology accepted,” he assured her.

Meanwhile, the comments section erupted with messages from amused viewers, who joked that the word “I’d” may have been written above.
@theincomparablemryoung wrote: “No, this has been poorly cropped, and you can’t see the ‘I’d definitely’ written at the top haha!”
However, Piers had already covered that possibility, sharing it on Stories and quipping: “I wouldn’t bank on that ever happening, luv!”(sic)
Even his son Spencer joined in with the jokes, writing: “Get it some aircon!”
