Pink might have just wrapped her mammoth 157-date world tour but that doesn’t mean she’s chilling in a plush hotel suite and enjoying her downtime just yet.
We mean, she probably would be if she wasn’t locked out of it.
That’s right, the superstar we’re obsessed with is just like the rest of us, just wanting to take a glass of red wine and get into a robe and probably order room service.
Instead, the singer was left lying on the floor (where we left her?) outside her room, after finding her key didn’t work.
Sharing two snaps to Instagram, the Just Like A Pill singer took some quiet time on the carpet in the hotel’s hallway while waiting for her saviour with a spare.
‘My room key doesn’t work,’ she wrote as she nursed a glass of red wine in one of the pics.
In the other she appeared to get a little restless as she rolled around the place, dressed in a red boiler suit that had been rolled down, with a black tank underneath.
To be honest, it’s a big mood and something that’s making us feel a bit better about that time in Vegas when we locked ourselves out after seeing Olivia Newton-John in concert and had to wait for our mate to get back with the key…anyway, we’re getting off-topic here.
Her mates were loving the insight all the same, as Bastille’s Dan Smith wrote: ‘This is a metaphor for my life.’
Hear hear!
One follower chimed in: ‘Just when my admiration and love for you couldn’t get any higher….’
Other fans just started writing Pink’s song lyrics back to her, such as: ‘You gotta get up and try, and try, and try.’
Pink has been busy celebrating the end of her Beautiful Trauma tour that saw her play to probably around a gazillion fans.
After thanking her security guard for keeping her out of jail all these years, she paid tribute to her crew.
Celebrating the end of the road and her return home, she uploaded a shot of her alongside two pals having a lie-down.
A well-earned lie-down we should add.
‘That’s all folks! Thank you to everyone around the world for a beautiful, magical, challenging, fun, emotional, soulful tour. This was 2 1/2 years of blood, sweat, and many tears. A lot of happy ones, too,’ she wrote.
‘It has been an honour and a pleasure to play with you.
‘My team… from the stage builders to the sound and lights and video and dancers and band and safety and stunts and everyone in between is hands down the best crew of any tour in the world. I am incredibly grateful to work with them. I love them with all of my heart, and I love all of you, too.
‘Til next time. That’s a wrap! #beautifultraumaworldtour? #157#gratitude.’
With only two performances scheduled for the rest of the year (one in October and November) the superstar is probably pretty excited to get back to her own bed and have husband Carey Hart look after the kids so she can get just one minute of meditation time.
No wonder she needed that red wine. Cheers!
