Somebody Up There Likes Me, a documentary about English rock musician Ronnie Wood, will premiere on October 12 at the London Film Festival.
The documentary will feature new interviews with Wood’s Rolling Stones bandmates Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts.
In an interview with Wood, he discloses his three-year battle with drink and drugs.
It had been “such an incredible feeling to look back on my life and discuss key moments along the way that I remember vividly as if they were yesterday,” Wood says.
Producers describe the documentary as the “first in-depth film biography” of Wood.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Mike Figgis is the director of the film.
“The combination of his eclectic musical range and his love of painting seemed like a promising start to a documentary,” Figgis said.
