Sam Thompson insists he goes to sister Louise with his problems amid feud rumours

Sam Thompson appears to have hinted that rumours of a feud between himself and sister Louise aren't all as they seem – listing her as one of the people he calls when he's having a problem.

In recent weeks, speculation has been rife that the former Made In Chelsea star, 30, has fallen out with his 32-year-old sister, who he lives next door to, despite their famously close bond.

An Instagram post from Louise appears to have kicked off the rumour mill, with the mother-of-one referencing family feuds while discussing her mental health – before quickly deleting it from the platform.

But talking to OK! this week, Sam seemed to make it clear that he still counts on his older sister for advice. Chatting alongside best pal Pete Wicks, the radio host listed the people he goes to for help with a problem – with Louise coming in at number four.

"The first person I go to with a problem is Pete. It goes: Pete, my dad, Pete again because he didn't answer, maybe Zara [girlfriend Zara McDermott], and Louise," he told OK while chatting on his new Goodness Mens range with Baylis and Harding.

The siblings, who appeared on Made In Chelsea together, have always had a famously close relationship and often share hilarious pranks and skits to Instagram.

However, sources recently told MailOnline that they have 'drifted apart' in recent months due to Sam's work commitments and Louise's new life as a mum to son Leo-Hunter, 18 months, and they no longer see each other as frequently.

The insider said: "The recent lack of communication as they embark on particular projects has caused a rift which they've, as yet, failed to address.

"The family hope it's just a typical brother and sister fallout, but there is concern this may run and run without being sorted, and the longer it continues, the more difficult a resolution can be found."

Louise's cryptic Instagram post, which was promptly deleted, originally stated: "I dealt with a lot of stress last week and I'm not as resilient as I used to be. Or maybe I am. Maybe I'm more resilient, I'm just dealing with much more significant issues.

"Health issues, family feuds etc. When you have a child, you have less time to be selfish and to look after yourself."

While Sam's recent documentary, Is this ADHD? aired on E4 earlier this month and received a wave of support from friends and fans. Despite their usual public show of support for one another, Louise is one of the few people yet to comment or support Sam publicly on the venture.
