Once upon a time, we had not heard of the Kardashians – and now they run a billion dollar empire with one of the longest running reality TV shows of all time and more merchandise and businesses than you could count.
But it all started in 2007, when Kim Kardashian catapulted into fame when she was embroiled in a sex scandal after a tape of her getting intimate with singer Ray J was released without her permission.
The tape went viral and Kim, who only been known before as the daughter of lawyer Robert Kardashian, sued the company that released the tape for $5 million.
Shortly afterwards, fascination with the family spiralled and Keeping Up With the Kardashians was born, changing the world as we know it, forever.

Kim has since took control back of her image, marrying Kanye West and becoming a mother to four children.
The family were accused of deliberately leaking the tape as a publicity stunt to promote KUWTK, which they have denied.
But her friend Paris Hilton had been accused of the same after a sex tape of her with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon leaked online in 2003.
The tape was released shortly after her TV show The Simple Life came out, though Paris also sued the company that released it, for a whopping $30 million for violation of privacy and emotional distress.
But 1 Night In Paris was a media sensation, and won several adult film awards inlcuding Best Selling Title of the Year, Best Renting Title of the Year and Best Overall Marketing Campaign – Individual Project.

Coleen has always stuck by Wayne throughout the many cheating allegations, several of which he has denied, particularly recent ones such as when he was pictured getting into a lift with another woman in Canada.

In 2014, Katie Price accused then-husband Kieran Hayler of cheating on her with her best friend Jane Pountney in an afffair that lasted months.
Katie and Jane were best friends since their teens, but sensationally became enemies after her affair with Kieran, which went on far at least seven months, and saw them have unprotected sex all over Katie's home.

Katie Hopkins enjoyed a naked romp in a field with a married former colleague in 2007, for which she was caught out by photographers.
The far-right rent-a-gob had the embarrassing photos go viral as both parties cheated on their spouses in broad daylight.
Katie admitted to the romp, saying: "I did have sex in a field, there’s no denying that, there’s no getting away from it, but I would say, that people aren’t adventurous enough!"
But, being adventurous didn't extend to her filming herself, as she revealed that she didn't know she'd been photographed until the next morning when she had to phone her boss and explain that she would be naked on the front pages of the papers.

Dutch model Rebecca claimed she and David has a four month affair, which David denied – though he never mounted legal claims against her.
David issued at statement saying: "During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts."
And Victoria Beckham referenced it in an interview with V magazine on 2007, saying: "I’m not going to lie. It was a really tough time. No one said marriage was going to be easy.

Twilight fans were devastated after photos of Kristen Stewart canoodling with her Rupert Sanders, her director on Snow White and The Huntsman, surfaced.
US Weekly released shocking photos of Kristen and Rupert kissing while thinking they were alone in a secluded area.
Kristen issued a grovelling apology to her boyfriend Rob Pattinson, but they split up shortly after.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Kristen has apparently said, in a statement to People magazine.
"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Rupert was married, and also apologised to his wife Liberty Ross – who filed for divorce shortly afterwards.
Zara Holland's Hideaway romp gets her stripped of her beloved Miss GB title
During Love Island 2016, Miss Great Britain Zara Holland was stripped of her title after a romp in the Hideaway with Alex Bowland.
She burst into tears after the show bosses informed her she had lost her title due to the raunchy behaviour on the show.
Sobbing, Zara told her pals: “I need to speak to everyone. I’ve just had some news. They’ve taken my title off me. They’ve done a statement and stuff just saying ‘it’s not acceptable.”
Elaborating further in the Beach Hut, Zara continued: “I did Miss Great Britain because I wanted to. It’s something I wanted to do.
"And if you put that hard work in and the commitment and the time and the effort…I did and I won, and I worked so hard.
"And now I just made one silly, stupid mistake of being in the moment has ruined everything. I can’t even put into words how gutted I am. So if they want to give me it back that’s fine!”
Vowing to put the news behind her, Zara declared: “I just feel like people are going to judge me. I guess it’s just been a bit of a rollercoaster in here and now this has happened.
"I want to carry on as normal. But anyhow, onwards and upwards.”
Her co star, the late Sophie Gradon, subsequently gave an empowering speech about feminism, slamming the bosses who took Zara's title away from her for sexism.
