A great big smacker from Macca for his daughter! Music legend Sir Paul, 79, gives photographer Mary, 52, peck on the lips after meeting for trendy Notting Hill lunch
‘Close your eyes and I’ll kiss you,’ he once sang to adoring fans of The Beatles.
Nearly 60 years later, Sir Paul McCartney clearly has the same message for his daughter.
In a touching show of affection, the 79-year-old music legend gave photographer Mary a peck her on the lips as they parted after meeting for lunch at the bohemian vegan restaurant Farmacy in west London’s trendy Notting Hill last week.

Ms McCartney, 52, a renowned photographer and one of four children from Sir Paul’s marriage to late wife Linda, smiled broadly, to reveal that she is wearing a brace to straighten her teeth
With his black Covid mask pulled down, Sir Paul – whose 1963 hit All My Loving is among his many classics – placed an arm around his daughter’s back as he gave her a farewell kiss after their leisurely lunch on Thursday.

Her adoption of the £1,200 device, once normally only seen sported by children and adolescents, underlines the growing popularity of cosmetic dentistry for adults.
Paul’s wife of ten years, Nancy Shevell, 62, also joined them – and the married couple were later seen walking hand-in-hand away from the restaurant.
The former Beatle’s parental peck could reignite a debate over whether fathers should kiss their daughters on the lips, an issue that was first raised in 2017 when David Beckham posted a picture of himself and ten-year-old daughter Harper.
It prompted upset on social media, but the former footballer defied critics to continue sharing photographs of him kissing not only his daughter, but also his sons.
In 2018 he defended his habit, saying: ‘I kiss all my kids on the lips, well maybe not Brooklyn as he’s 18.’
